Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance and repairs on various home appliances, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Utilize all safety equipment, vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by GHS effectively and responsibly.
  • Conduct thorough technical diagnostics and specialized repairs across a diverse range of electronics and home appliances.
  • Assess problems accurately, make informed decisions to repair or replace parts, and complete documentation and data entry promptly after each service.
  • Prepare for service calls by pre-screening and gathering necessary information to expedite diagnostics and repairs on-site.
  • Achieve company goals in customer satisfaction and productivity.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license for legal operation of service vehicles.
    High School diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school completion preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in repairing major appliances such as laundry, cooking, or cleaning products.
  • Preferably with refrigeration or sealed systems experience; EPA certification required for specific roles.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment necessary for appliance repairs.
  • Physical ability to perform field service tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and squatting.
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interactions.
  • Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Competent in using computers or tablets for documentation and service record management.
